Steady Light Blue

Light Blue (Cyan) is used to mean two things on the Little Cyclops camera.

1) The LED flashes Light Blue at the start of the Little Cyclops Power On process, as the camera reads from its internal flash drive. If this drive has become corrupt then the light may stay Steady Light Blue indicating that the flash drive has been corrupted and the camera is "bricked".

You are likely to need to contact littlecyclopscameras@gmail.com for instructions on how to reset your camera flash drive.

2) But in normal use Steady Light Blue indicates that the camera is Ready to Play Audio MP3 files.

You get into this mode by pressing the MODE and FRONT buttons together, and you exit the mode by again pressing the MODE and FRONT buttons at the same time.

Press the POWER button briefly and the Light Blue LED flashes and your first MP3 track starts playing (through the headphones you plug into the jack socket on the right of the camera). You can pause and restart the track with brief presses of the POWER button.

Volume is reduced by holding in the MODE button and increased by holding in the FRONT button. Skip to the next track by briefly pressing the MODE button and skip to the beginning of this track by pressing FRONT briefly once, then press FRONT again for the previous track and so on. To switch out of MP3 mode press MODE and FRONT together again and the LED changes to indicate the camera state.

To switch off, hold the POWER button until you have Flashing Red and Yellow LEDs.

You can not only play back MP3 recordings that you have made on the Little Cyclops, but any MP3 files that you put into the VOICE folder on the microSD card in your camera!

So, the Little Cyclops is also a miniature MP3 player!
