Steady Blue

Blue has two meanings for the Little Cyclops.

1) If the camera is connected to a computer then it probably means just that: "Camera Connected to a Computer".

During data transfers the Blue LED will flash.

If the battery is being charged then the Yellow LED will flash.

The Little Cyclops tries to present two pseudo disc drives to the PC - Linux and Mac PCs generally find this confusing and won't open either disc drive.

Some Windows PCs may also have difficulty reading the drives (the Windows 7 PC my employer provides is so locked down it won't recognise either drive).

My old Windows XP laptop does see the contents.

One of the drives contains PICTURE, VIDEO and VOICE folders and the SETUP.INI file. The other drive contains the camera software and an autorun Windows program which allows you to read and set the internal date and time on the camera. DON'T format this drive as doing so will stop the camera software from working.

2) If the camera is not connected to a computer and you have used the MODE button to cycle round until the light is Steady Blue then it means: "Ready to Record Audio".

To start recording Audio just press the POWER button briefly and the Blue LED will start to flash.
