Saving a Still Photograph

Flashing Green means the Little Cyclops is saving the Still Photograph you just took to the microSD card.

I tend to think of each flash as representing somewhere between a half and one megabyte of JPEG file.

So, depending on the CameraImageSize value you have set in the SETUP.INI file on the microSD card and on the complexity of the subject of your photograph then you may expect to see up to a dozen flashes of Green before the LED goes Steady again.

If the LED just keeps on flashing then the camera is likely to have crashed and you need to RESET the camera by holding down the POWER button and the FRONT button together.

Why did the camera crash? I think of it as indicating that your subject was too complex, and that could be because of "camera shift". The photograph is taken as you release your brief press of the POWER button. Were you already moving the camera by the time you released the button?
