Power up in progress

Flashing Blue and Flashing Yellow generally mean that a Little Cyclops camera Power Up is in progress. After a few flashes the lights should change to Steady Red indicating that the camera is on and ready to record Video.

If you are powering on the camera, once the lights change to Flashing Blue and Flashing Yellow you can remove your finger from the POWER button.

But, if the lights stay flashing for longer what does it mean?

It probably means that the camera cannot read what it wants from the microSD card. Do you have a card in the slot? Is it inserted correctly? Is the card working properly?

I have had this combination of lights when charging the Little Cyclops, but I now think the camera was trying to tell me there was something wrong with the microSD card rather than telling me it was charging the battery.

Switch the camera off and try removing and reinserting the microSD card - check that the card works in another device such as a card reader - check that another card works in your camera. Is the problem with the card or the camera?
